Our Story
Faith-Rooted. Community-Driven. Arizona-Wide.
Christian Recovery Network AZ exists to bridge the gap between the church and the recovery community — connecting hurting people to vetted, Christ-centered care across the state.

Why We Exist
Our Mission
To mobilize the Arizona church in the work of addiction recovery by connecting individuals and families to vetted, faith-based resources — and equipping ministry leaders to meet them where they are.
Our Vision
A state where no one in recovery walks alone, and every church is equipped to be a place of healing.
Our History
How We Started
Christian Recovery Network AZ was born out of a simple, painful observation: people in the pews were struggling with addiction, and their pastors didn't know where to send them. Treatment providers were doing good work, but families couldn't find them. The church and the recovery community were operating in parallel — rarely together.
A small group of pastors, counselors, and recovery advocates came together in Phoenix with a shared conviction: the church is uniquely positioned to walk alongside people in recovery, but it needs tools, training, and trusted partners to do it well.
What began as a local referral network has grown into a statewide directory of vetted Christian recovery resources — paired with training programs, a pastoral hotline, and a growing community of ministry leaders committed to making their churches recovery-ready.
What Guides Us
Core Values
Christ at the Center
Every resource in our network is grounded in the belief that lasting recovery is rooted in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We don't add faith as an afterthought — it's the foundation.
Rigorous Vetting
We personally review every organization before listing them. Families deserve to trust that a referral from our network means something — and we take that responsibility seriously.
Church Empowerment
We believe the local church is the most powerful recovery resource in any community. Our training programs and tools exist to help pastors and ministry leaders step into that role with confidence.
Dignity & Compassion
Addiction is not a moral failure — it is a complex condition that touches every family. We approach every person who reaches out with the same grace we've received.
Arizona-Rooted
We are not a national organization with an Arizona chapter. We are Arizonans — built here, serving here, and accountable to the communities we live in.
Scripture-Anchored
Our approach to recovery ministry is shaped by Scripture. We believe the Bible speaks directly and powerfully to addiction, shame, healing, and restoration.

"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can." — John Wesley
Jennifer Evans
Co-Founder
On the outside, Jennifer owned her dream — traveling the world helping people in need, looking like she had it all together. But on the inside, she was privately drowning. A highly functional addict, she eventually hit a breaking point: exhausted, unmotivated, and trapped in deep depression and anxiety after years of drugs, alcohol, chronic stress, and severe physical neglect.
What felt like a total breakdown became her miracle breakthrough. God met her in that broken place and completely delivered her from the bondage of addiction, sin, and death. Her path to sobriety required immense perseverance — including three relapses — but learning to live free was worth every single step. She committed herself entirely to pursuing optimal wellness across spirit, soul, and body through the strength of Jesus Christ, one day at a time.
After nine years of personal healing and restoration, God revealed it was time to step out and use her story to help others. Profoundly burdened by the passing of dozens of friends to overdose and suicide, Jennifer is fully committed to raising raw awareness, helping individuals in recovery achieve comprehensive wellness, and guiding them to step boldly into their divine purpose.
"A life of genuine peace, joy, and success is entirely possible for those willing to let go and let God. Real transformation is a lifelong process, not a singular event. If it happened for me, it can absolutely happen for you too. Do not lose heart." — Jennifer Evans
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
